A different kind of dental care
from a different kind of dentist.

John R. Hendricks, Jr., DDS
“I’ve known I wanted to be a dentist
since I was 14 years old. My father always stressed
to me to be a doctor, and for some reason I guess that
always stayed in the back of my mind. My mother was
employed by doctors when I was a kid, so I kind of grew
up around the atmosphere of the medical field and came
to respect and enjoy it. I’ve always felt I had
good hand-eye coordination playing sports, so dentistry
was a natural fit for me. My greatest satisfaction in
dentistry is the look on a patient’s face when
I help them change their smile. Dentistry is a great
profession. One I hope my children will enter someday.”

Shawn A. Walls, DDS, FAGD
“Why did I become a dentist? Growing up,
I was greatly influenced by a dentist I admired who
was a close friend of the family. When I underwent orthodontic
treatment, I started to become seriously interested
in dentistry as a profession. Looking back, I made the
perfect choice for me in becoming a dentist because
it lets me make lifetime friends. In fact, I have several
patients who are college students whom I have been treating
since they were small children.”
